One to watch M53
For those of us who use the M53 on a regular basis:
DK10 BKF - the kind of car you dont want behind you when you're "opening up the turbo" (my daughters phrase)
Black mondeo I think - too busy clocking the reg and then trying to remember it all the way home

Their other favourite haunt is further along the Dock Road, by the tyre place! I've been close to getting caught out there a few times!.... BRAKES!!!!!!!!!

They've been putting them there for years. I know many a person whos had 3 points from getting caught there! (most of the Royal Mail drivers from Wallasey/Birkenhead have got points or at least a warning there!)

To be honest they never used to use speed camera round here, not they have those two and the Baywater road end of the B and Q road thing..
Thanks Gilly
Better to know about them tho! I always thought they used 1 or 2 year old cars, so ignore anything older
Cost cutting I supposeOn the Dock Road thing, never seen any yet but fella from work got stopped by the tyre place - over the limit and lost his licence (and so he should) it was PN10 (BMW 5 Estate) LAA.
PF07 VOA Is the rest of that plate
SA60 SXR Another unmarked cop car and it's a Corsa
PN07 LLC Another unmarked cop car
PO58 OBM Another unmarked cop car
CC59 BGE Silver BMW
i'm not a cop i just spend most of my time driving
think they are having a blitz on the wirral at the moment
unmarked cars pulled in and using hand held speed guns (by green lane station )
also family have seen them doing it elsewhere with unmarked cars.
also think the marked cars getting keener seen two pulled in last week in Bebington alone.
and im only driving on the odd evening and at weekends

silver/grey astra knocking around liverpool at the moment (have not managed to get the reg) and will probably be over the wirral fairly soon. as a lot of you know i drive for a living so i tend to get a good heads up on these sneaky fellas. PN10 LAA operates both sides of the water so i think what they tend to do is operate for so long on the wirral and when it becomes "known" swaps over the other side for another month or so. so keep em coming people and i will do the same this side, not that any of us need to keep an eye out when driving miss daisy lol
There are quite a few HMRC vehicles that will use blues etc in the area so not all are unmarked police (still better to be safe than sorry thouigh) Upset one of them in his sneaky beaky mobile in a carpark when I asked him was he police or revenue
. Spat his dummy out as I'd made the car with no real effort.
Keep an eye out when they are running the temp limits via the matrix signs. Seen quite a few traffic units pulled right back on the police stands so you don't see them till you are right on them. Bit of a pain as they drop to a 50 on the 53 for nothing more than a 3 legged mouse crossing the road these days.

Thanks for the info Wooffy they seem to have triggerred the matrix signs quite a few times I have been on there of late and as you say hard to see reason why, thus a lot of people travel at normal speed thinking they have forgotten to switch them off! so yes police could have a field day. Good heads up about them parking right back on the hard stands.
