Let's meet at Meadowhall at 7.45, leaving at 8am. We should arrive at Ferrybridge by 8.45, so let's arrange to leave at 9.15. *

I'll be parked in the carpark not far from the Macdonalds.


The sheffieldscoobys/southern NBO convoy will be as follows. Anyone welcome. The times are below so anyone wanting to join please remember to put your names down, and to be on time

SUNDAY THE 27th OF JUNE NBO DAY

1-Meet at Meadowhall Retail Park between 8:15 am-8:40 am

2-Depart meadowhall retail park at 8:45 am sharp (please use both lanes of every junction between meadowhall retail park and the viaduct,so we can get as many cars through the lights and stay in convoy/grouped)

3-Head up the M1 northbound to join the M62,the convoy speed will be dropped on the first section of the M1 this will allow any cars that missed the light changes to catch up within the first few miles

4-Follow the M62 eastbound to arrive at Ferrybridge services(the junction off the M62 for the ferrybridge services in signposted just after the A1 turnoff)

5-Arrival at ferrybridge services around 9:20 am,to meet up with more owners coming from Hull/Leeds/Yorks etc

6-Depart Ferrybridge services at approx 9:40 am for the final leg of the journey to Lightwater Valley,When leaving Ferrybridge services,follow the roundabout back towards the M62 westbound entrance(towards leeds)rejoin the M62 for 1 junction and leave onto the A1 sliproad north bound

This will give us 50 minutes to reach Lightwater Valley to cover traffic issues/logistic problems etc

7-The NBO will open at 10:30 am

Please all members/owners wishing to join the days events,make sure you put your names down on the list below,anyone's friends wishing to attend please feel free,but remember "ONLY" subarus will be allowed to enter the show (unless part of visiting car club).

Also, discounted entry to the themepark will be available on the day,its usually around halfprice for NBO attendee's and there families

Congratulations to rach for being the official southern convoy leader for the NBO 8
with the ~ special one ~ marcus taking early retirement this year after winning the car of the show last year I'm sure the southern convoy is in great hands this year
