Default rocker cover

hi,got a tiny leak of oil from bottom of rocker cover been told the gasket has gone and should replace with metal one like the other side which is fine ,now i,m ok to a certain degree with car basic mechanics is it easy job to do myself ,got the new gasket and tools ready what would you guys reccommend do it myself or take it to mechanic.thanks.
