Im a memeber of LADS (Lancashire And District Subarus)and we had Andy F come visit us in January and map 4 cars with some excellent results, my Newage WRX acheiving 367BHP on PROSPORT's Rollers, with associated mods! Due to further £££ mods undertaken I am now looking to get Andy Forrest back down from the highlands over September / Early October time and am looking to generate interest for persons who would like mapping undertaken by Andy at a mutual North West venue around the Manchester / Lancashire / Cheshire Area.

Should anyone be genuinely interested please PM or email me and ill forward you further info on his costs etc!

Yes please, deffo put me down for this one.

 

Kris, why not ask prosport to remap your car, you already have the ecutek license, so it wont cost that much to do. Whereas getting Andy down will cost you a fortune in travelling costs alone, even with up to 4 others paying their whack!

Hi Ive emptied my box now

Ive been down the Pro-Sport route but didnt want to use their preffered mapper as he has a preference not to map with an AVCR which i want to retain. Andy also did my initial map so there is also a cost implication to go elsewhere. His expenses are not too bad we split the cost of these last time.

Right, I see. Still believe you only pay a set price for any maps after the initial one though, regardless of the mapper. Good luck

 

Do you have a venue in mind? I had my PFC mapped by Andy back in June but have since fitted a FMIC so need it tweaking.

This is a post for persons who actually are ready and want a map undertaking now and who are prepared to pay a £100 deposit to Mr Forrest to reserve a slot in the next few weeks.

I've just booked in for Apexi re-remap on 26 Sept up in sunny Edinburgh, with Andy, who did my first re-map, now I've fitted a TD05/06-20G turbo and 800 cc/min injectors.

 

Shame that as you could have saved yourself a small fortune in and fuel and more importantly time to get there and back Expenses could have been split 4 ways which is only £50 each!! Not consider reschedulling?? That date looks pretty fine for me for a Northwest mapping session Also ive just fitted 650's but dont fancy chancing driving up all the way there unmapped ? I trust your car will be on a transporter??

Well, if Andy can come down that day, the Friday previous, or the tuesday for example, then yeah I could make the numbers up, if Andy can do 4 in a day.

When you contact him to confirm dates you could tell him I am booked on 26th 10 am so he can use that day for the NW mapping session if I am in it!!


Nah, car in use daily, running sweet despite new turbo and big injectors, you just need to know what to adjust in the Apexi to offset the injector sizes, and stay off boost and under medium revs, I think. When I put in the 550's and adjusted offset, the car smoked rich as mad if any boost used on way their!

This post is now closed, may take a standby just incase. I can confirm that Barnsey, Gatecrasher & Myself will make up the 3 cars. Unfortunately Vulnax Andy wont map 4 cars in a day so the 3 will be maximum. Good luck with your remap mate! The drive back will be worth it no doubt! Barnsey / Gatecrasher ill be in touch in a few days with dates and info from Andy re deposits to him etc.
