Theres a curry place in stockport, levenshulme. £10 buffet style, all you can eat. Naawab I thinks its called.
Or Saffrons in Manchester, near M.E.N. I think they do buffet style as well. Carl went there for his xmas doo. A mate from work loves that place. I'll ask him about the prices. I've had a few lunches there and the food is 1st class. I think it was £6, all you can eat. But you dont get as much variety as the evening meal.
We need to consider somewhere safe for the cars to park though.

Always go to rusholme ourselves, not sure of the name of the place, but very good and would easily fit us all in
Otherwise, the place we went last year in Dukinfield, near the football club on the hill? Martin, help me out here Right hand side heading up towards mottram lights! Hang on, I'll multimap
Not duki, staly! On this road: here

So i take it everyone is up for a curry then? good stuff
yeah i would recommend Nawaab....but there could be a parking problem.
There is meant to be a right posh gaff in Audenshaw/Openshaw area that has a massive car park area.
I'll have a look.
I'm not bothered about partners - but i wont be bringing mine, up to the individual i reckon.

Dont think mine would want to attend, maybe if its buffet style she'd change her mind. She reccons there something sad about sitting in a room full of people talking about cars, which is funny cos I always think that we we go to her tennis meetings theres something sad about sitting in a room full of people talking about tennis!
If anyone was thing about Chinese theres a place in China town call "Pan Asia" which does an all you can eat buffet for £6. I've been a few times and amazingly there still open
However a nice curry sounds fine to me.

Chris, sound more like Stalybridge that. Bower Spice next to Stalybridge Celtics ground and there is a car park for about 100 cars no problem. If I go for a curry it is there.
There is one also just off the M60 Ashton Moss junction turn right at top of slip road and then right at the next lights. Not sure of parking though.
There is a Chinese buffet place on Ashton Moss (big car park) never been but been to Pan Asia in town. Pan Asia great but no parking

Bower spice in Stalybridge is the best Ive been to in a long while - very clean and cracking grub - especialy the Lamb chat mmmm
the car park is fine as long as theres no football on - which the seasons finished now so there shouldnt be a problem.

Only a sugestion but why don't we meet in Manchester which i'm sure we can all get to fairly easily from where we live on trains buses taxi's etc.
Then we don't have to worry about car parking etc
And we can have a few beers as well.
I think a decent indian restaurant in town was mentioned earlier on in the thread
Cheers Warren

So are we all decided on a curry then?
lets have some suggestions about the venue - if we go during the week and take cars then parking facilities are a priority, if not and we are on the pop so to speak then we can go anywhere but perhaps a central venue as teh Smacs come from far and wide.
Ok then cars and no beer or beer and no cars???

we need to sort out a venue with decent parking.
i will try and track this posh gaff out in Audenshaw/Openshaw. as i know it has decent parking.
otherwise i'm open to suggestions

Openshaw/Audenshaw? There is Indian Plaza which is newish. Few people I know have been and said it is nice.
Bower Spice is best for Cars and no beer.
There is a place near Greenwoods which I think you are on about called Oriental Spice,Big car park. Virtually across the road.
Could do a dealer visit plus Curry?
