Thought I'd start a new thread to make it easier to work out things out.
Details from Mellow Yellow:

quote:
Meeting point will be around jnc 31 of the M6 with exact details nearer the time. 1st day will be a mixture of A roads (for the cooling down of ones brakes etc...) and some unbelievable B roads, humps (take offs), forest routes, men out from the boys routes, scenic etc... all in all bl**dy damned good !Start will be 10.00am for a 10.30am start.I have several stopping points for catch up's etc...and have sourced and booked lunch at an idylic pub with brill facilites and parking. Campsite is booked and the site has a bar, restaurant etc..and they will be roping off a section just for us. Garages selling SUL have been routed so no worries there. 2nd day being reccied next weekend. Now I need you all to start CONFIRMING your attendance due to the Pub lunch, campsite etc...Could you please let me know over the next week your firm details.

If I have Scooby wheels, am I there. If not, probably need to jump a lift with somebody.
I think Michelle has bagged my spare tent, but I have a couple of spare sleeping bags if people are short.
I've booked the Friday and Monday off work to get sorted out / recover.
My dad always told me to get my excuses in first, so I'll be with Miss Daisy at the back of the group.
Cheers,
ChrisB.

Confirming my attendance too.
I have spoken to my manager and he has agreed to let me have the time off Although I have to commit to the weekend after and I have found out that is when there is a Donnington trip
However, I will be at the front of all of the groups showing you boys up, as none of you can drive fast - I think you are all bragging a challenge to come along for the drive if anything - come on lads!!!!!
Michelle.
PS ChrisB how do you spell Northern??? LOL 100 lines for you!!!!!

I shall be attending.
I will be bringing three others in the car and so this will require two pitches (i.e. two tents). It also means I will be the slowest due to carrying so much weight.
Nearer the time I could do with full details of the route as I may not be able to make the morning start and I will need to catch you up in the afternoon.
Damian.

Nothern is merely Northern with a Northern accent (or is that Nothern accent? Nothurn, Nothun.......)

Just confirming my attendance too.
Will either be on my own or with my bro.
Girlfriend would rather go to the Trafford Centre!
Still ok to borrow a tent Mellow?
Does this place have bogs/washrooms etc.?
Sorry to be a tart but as I said before, my last tent had Spiderman on it. I'm not used to roughing it!

Rich, the tents still available m8.
Peeps, what we do need to discuss is depending on numbers, do we set off together like we did on the Wales camping trip and set our own pace, bear in mind there will be 2 or 3 catch up/ slow down meet up points with lunch in an idylic setting...........or do we group off 4's and 5's and have a time delay ?
M.Y. (now with anthracites back on his car !)

I'm in!
Mellow: it will depend on how many peeps are coming along, if it gets much more than 10 you are better off splitting up into smaller groups.
As long as each one has someone who can navigate, (So Michelle would be better off NOT at the front ).

I think judging by the last gatecrashing of a christening after getting sidetracked by a P1 on the way to a curry after the Staffs Meet, shall we go for a bigger event this time??????
I of course will blag a way in

Well, set off in groups, but let people who do want to go at a faster pace than is comfortable for some ahead......or like they do on the Tour, have separate routes?
A pain but it works and doesn't attract as much attention........
Just a thought.
Michelle.
