Blackpool Big One - '05 (gauging interest)

I know i said i wouldnt, but ive had the people of Radio City on to me several times. They were overwhelmed by the amount of money we generated last year, and I was invited to the Radio Station a few months back, to represent Scoobynet, as a token of their thanks. (unfortuantely i wasnt able to go as it was in works time )

£550 plus £600 matched by the company i work for.

So, im putting this post up, to gauge interest for an event later this year, probably a weekend in October, like last year.

to make this a success, realistically we need around 100 cars ...and similar format to last year, making a minimum donation of £5 for Radio City's - 'give a child a chance' appeal.

Last year we had 106 Scoobs, and 2 others.

For any new comers, its a family meet, we had an organised venue to meet at, and the Police and tourist information were informed of all our intentions... this is a meet to raise money for charity, its not a cruise. Its finale, being to get us all along Blackpool Prom, through the lights, although not without some hiccups, due to traffic volume, we did get there.

I can't believe your gauging interest on this, this HAS to be an annual event like the NBO etc, there'd be an outcry from the scooby community if this didn't happen.

My kids would never forgive me if we missed this.
Just try and make sure it's not between the 24th October and 11th Novemeber as I'm in Australia for my brothers wedding. It'll cause ructions if I say I'm coming home early for the BBO
