Chris,

On the 3rd, is it just a case of turning up with driving license etc?

Also, will there be a dvd of this years Shootout?

Cheers

Jeff

unfortunately we didnt commit to filming this years event, due entirely to the very poor response initially in scooby entries confirmed, as we'd have had to commit to a couple of grand on cameras and crew well in advance. with 2-3weeks to go we had just 35 scoobys entered, which wasnt at all encouraging, either for filming or for the event itself for the future.

however, the rwyb entries and late scooby entries made it a good turn out in the end, and a brilliant day, and for 2006 we may well have now have many more people interested much earlier on. Plans are already afoot to build a bigger and better Scoobyshootout!

we also now have to see how well the 2004 dvd sells before saying we can film next year, as its a big cost outlay to film , edit and produce a good quality dvd like this.

SSO 2004 dvd is now on sale, its on our www.totb.co.uk website shop at just £11.99 incl vat.
feedback from people who purchased it on sunday at Elvington has been great, it features all the action from last years event, plus interviews with the scooby owners, the shootout finals and a bonus section with in-car 200mph footage from inside the Calder Supra.
cheers
