Scoobyshootout -news
I'm pleased to confirm we have had our site meeting today to finalise details of Scoobyshootout on 22nd may 2005 at Elvington airfield.
the entry fee to race will be £45 per car, a slight increase of £5 from last year, but event insurance costs have risen directly for all events.
this entry fee gives the driver and car unlimited runs on the 1/4m and top speed events all day. there will be no rwyb entries accepted on the day, it will be by advance booking/payment only. 100 places are available from next week on a first come basis.
spectating will be £10 per adult, kids under 16 free, pay on the gate from 9am.
the entry form will be available early next week on www.totb.co.uk as a downloadable file, with details of how to pay etc on it.
100 places for scoobys will be available, with 20 other invited cars also attending. trophies will be available as usual, for fastest top speed, quickest 1/4m and Scoobyshootout winner.
we are also pleased to confirm that for this year we will be having a designated scooby only parking area, for spectator cars, and will be running a show n shine competition for the best cars. Other vehicles will be able to park up on site in a seperate public area.
we also intend having a large trade display area this year, and will be working with The Organisation (JAE) to deal with all trade applications, from 1st March, email enquiries can be made via;
enquiries@trackdayplus.com
any queries drop us a line as above!

to add, we are also hoping to put on a decent scooby related trade show, in conjunction with "The Organisation", so any interested traders/sponsors/prize sponsors can get in touch via the enquiries@trackdayplus.com address.
it's looking like the event itself will be heavily featured in at least one or two major magazines, and will be filmed again for a dvd, which may be shown on tv at a later date.

in the "compete" section of the site.
Space is limited to 100 cars on a first come basis, so be quick! closing date for entries is 1st May. no rwyb entries will be accepted on the day, its pre book/pay only.
We have some very interesting invited cars coming along also, including the Calder Supra among some very high powered entries.
cheers
