Default WYIOC - Fenay Bridge meet - 27th May

It's that time time again!

This one will be different.. It will be light for the first few hours!

All welcome to eat, drink & talk cars.

Don't forget, 10% discount on your food and beer bill to all paid up, card carrying members...

We'll be discussing

1. The scything and precise overtaking antics from the Karting
2. Sticky will be giving some details on the Paintball.

There's bound to be some new trick bits added to someones car..

We shall also be finalising the meeting point and plan for the Scooby shootout on the 31st... where Dazza , Steve and a few other regulars will be running...

There will be the usual convoy to the meet from the Holmfield Arms on the Wakefield side of the Denby Dale Rd at 7:10.

Mail me if you wish further details of either the meet or the convoy in.

Al

It should read 27 May!!! Are standards slipping or were you a little tired!! Or are you still in shock after seeing me in a French Diesel?

I'll be there, definately - I'll even put in the effort and clean the car!

If we get as many as we did at the karting should be another great night!

Cheers

Default 27th May Really!!!!

Al (timewarp) Cook strikes again.... 27th May, as Martyn pointed out.

Al's just trying to discourage people from attending, so he and I aren't embarrassed about our cr*p lap times at the karting.....

Also thought about maybe organising a BBQ for us all at some time - maybe round at our place - could canvass interest on the 27th????

In the words of Mr. Jackson, "Don't tell your mummy."

Oops, wrong Mr.Jackson, "I'll be there, definately", that's what I meant.

BBQ at Chris', Can you BBQ curry?

Cool

lol CB

My namesake really does take some $hit off people - although probably quite rightly so!!

HB

I would be happy to attend a BBQ round at the house. Sounds like a great idea!! What would the neighbours think though with all those Subarus (& Evo!!) round the place.

Looking forward to the next meet

C u all there!!

Cheers

Yup!

Where's me shrimps gone...

If the car's too much of an embarrassment to you guy's I could always use the wife's wagon, it's just that these Scooby's are so sloooww.

Runs for cover.....(paintball practice)

Hi guys - Scoobies allowed of course Mmm.... Evos, eh?? Not too certain! Maybe we ought to put it to the vote??

Probably better to aim for later May, or even early June, so we can bag us some better weather (hopefully!). So, who's free 29th May, 5th June, 12th June, 19th June? Or any other alternatives?

Let's have a poll, and opt for the most suitable date...

Cheers, HB.

Thumbs up Daves dilemma

Aaarrghh!!! Bloody W/E night shifts I'll see what I can do.

29th we have the Fenay meet just before, Scooby Shootout just after and my colleague at work is off, so no chance for me to get time off

6th my colleague is still off

12th is the day before NBO2, I'm off the sunday, but finishing at 6am and surviving on coffee, redbull, proplus and excitement. Might be able to add 1 day to that.

19th nothing but work in the way, might suggest a swap for W/E days that W/E, never done before but I can't see why not :|

Back to the floor for everyone else's input

Many thanks for a most gracious invite

Ah yes.. May.. Nice month.. can be a bit boring though... easily forgettable..

Now April.. yes Indeedy.. what a month! Can't we just do that one again? OK..OK... I've changed it...

BBQ? I was talking to the missus about organising something around my gaff .... spooky. May as well annoy Chris's neighbours instead..

5th June is good for me, as is the 19th. As Dave mentions, the 12th is the day before the NBO and Junes meet is on the 24th.. So I'm happy on either of those days... Mid afternoon is best as my lad has training at Halifax till about 12.... Week days is difficult with work and my 2 year old... and football training.. Tuesdays and Thursdays...

But I'm easy...

OK guys - a Saturday afternoon onwards is fine.... Everyone welcome to stay as long as you like - will have to kick you out early Monday morning though....

Sounds like the 5th or the 19th June is favourite so far....

As mentioned before, everybody welcome (so long as you bring a can or two and a spare sausage... ooer....)

It's a Dog Eat Dog world at the WYIOC mate... Always someone ready to steal the crown, Al....

Silver Sonic & Nick - bring yer baps guys - parking is not, repeat NOT, a problem...

Jackson & Yorkshire Si know the topography - plenty of room for Scoobs (and the ODD Evo!)

Just gotta get a date finalised for eveyone - the only problem child being CorradoBoy Dave...

Topography! Mmm, let's see, oh yes, a nice straight road alongside a farmers field which could line up one of the longest scooby only straight line car parks in the country... With an EVO in the middle somewhere Simon making it sound like Balmoral Drive

For me, I guess the June dates would be preferrable, and the 5th is probably the most convienient of those too. That said, will go with the flow...

I'll tow my BBQ down to yours then Chris for some extra cooking power... (About 10bhp I guess)...

Cheers
Simon (Bored to tears at work, only one in the god damn office )
