Default FAO WYIOC

Well, after pulling my hair out most of yesterday afternoon with the newsletter , I ended up speaking to a friend of mine, darn sarf, who is a systems developer. It seems that I wasnt doing anything wrong with the way it was set up, its something to do with CDONTS which the host dosnt support & therefore the newsletter wont be able to be sent out by the forums at the current hosting site

No worries Phil - you certainly gave it a darned good try! Maybe when the subs are sorted, we can look at a host that Cdoes, as Dave says.....

Alternatively, I suppose it could be sent out manually to subscribers.....

No worries, Phil. How much time are you putting into this bloody thing

I'm inclined to agree with HB. Would it be much trouble to just send it to everyone on a list manually, could it be done with a couple of mouse clicks, or is it a big operation? (Computer illiterate git, aren't I !! If it don't say Corel on the box I'm knackered )

I suppose it could be sent out as an email, but I really wanted to send it as HTML so that we'd have a nice banner/logo etc.

anyhoo. I'm sure there will be time to discuss it on Thursday ,when everyone vacates the track while Dazza is on
