Default Melbourne Dragway 12th April - RWYB

There were a few scoobies running so i just wondered if anyone on here ran and what times they got? It was my first ever attempt & due to my cambelt needing changing i only ran twice, but i ran a 13.77 & 13.98 in a red my98 uk turbo with only minimal mods (Full stainless with full decat, blitz filter, and thats it...i think??). i'm sure that with a couple more runs i could have got around a 13.5. Anyone had similar times who know what bhp their scoobs kickin out? Best part of the day had to be my second & worst run where i beat a new wrx sti... very satisfying

Yeh it was an RB5 but with some serious mods, huge turbo, nitrous etc, it was running in the 11's. He was purposely giving cars a decent head start & still winning

1) wasnt an RB5.. it was an STi 5
2) wasnt a 'huge' turbo, its a baby turbo compared to mine and wasnt / doesnt ever run Nitrous.
3) was missing gears

David Wallis, was that your blue one with the decals on it.

Done some good times.

Was just behind you in our group with a 12.72, think you got a 12.5 iirc.

Mine was the silver cossie.

Dave,

The decalled car belonged to a guy called Tom, and if he got a 12.5, Trout/Rannoch/David must of been giving him a tow

Alan, yes Trout ran on Monday.

Unhappy Stickered Up

Mine was the stickered one.....had a cr@p day...good launches but other than that appalling times...for a car that should be over 305bhp!!

Terminal never over 95!! Shocking behaviour....as Mark says, I should have got a tow from David

Good day out tho and nice to chat to a few new faces...with and without Scoobs...

Dare I say it but some nice Skylines and Cossies around as well
