This has been organised by the MANX SIDC involving Richard Prouse and all the Manx members of the Impreza Club I know extremely well. It has been structured around the Manx Roush Rally which is fantastic! I saw it 2 years in a row and it is something else. I can still organise a different weekend if anyone wants but this is excellent value for money in one of the best hotels on the IOM.
Remember this has been organised by the Manx guys and girls and they know the island better than any of us. They will also be our tour guides
Any questions email me: jon.stokes@nelpower.com
The Manx Scooby Fest 04
Will be held from July 28th (10:30
Seacat sailing from Liverpool) and run until August 3rd
(14:15 Seacat sailing back to Liverpool).
The event will incorporate Some Marshalling and spectating on
The Manx International Rally which this year is once again a
Round of the following championships.
British Rally Championship
Irish Tarmac Championship
Armajaro British Historic Championship
Irish Tarmac Historic Championship
AND will possibly be back in the European Rally Championship
again.
But that is only just the first couple of days, we will then
be offering more of the usual Manx welcome and will have lots of
other events to get involved in.
Mostly of course The Driving, we have probably some of the
best driving roads in the World AND with no upper limit,
there is the opportunity (where safe of course) to
experience the full potential of our Subaru's.
Also planned are: -
Karting
Bowling
Eating
Treasure Hunt, (not Walking this year!!!!!)
Gala Dinner
And not forgetting of course "The Fearsome Manx Challenge"
Plus anything else we can dream up before the event.
There is Clay pigeon shooting available just a few minutes away from the hotel, perhaps a ‘TT’ course tour via some friendly pubs around the course (using a coach of course!)
The price has now been fixed at £395 per person, based on 2 people sharing.
This is for 6 nights bed & breakfast at the Mount Murray Hotel, Santon (5 minutes from Douglas). We have also been able to secure some family units as well should you wish to bring children with you, comprising of a single room with twin beds next door to the adults room. These are priced at £195 per person but are limited to under 16s only (this is normally only available for under 12s)
These prices are based on filling all of the 20 rooms and ferry spaces that we have already booked.
Should more want to join us, we can arrange that but cannot guarantee the same price unless booked early?
So the trick is,
BOOK IT QUICK
We are of course also open to suggestions (sensible one's
that is!) What would you like to do, as we may be able to
add additional things, it is after all Your Club and being
Regional Organiser, my colleagues and I are purely trying to
put a package together that you will appreciate but without
a promotional company trying to make a profit!
Please contact me at prouse@manx.net for details of booking
and deposits
We hope the above is off interest and look forward to both your comments and your bookings!
Regards
Richard Prouse

I can vouch for the Mount Murray being a top hotel, I shall be staying just down the road, almost opposite Knock Froy MX track, where my mate lives, during TT week, however I'll be over on my enduro bike to do some serious off roading. If you've never been to the IOM this is an excellant oppurtunity to see some top rally action, and some superb roads, wish I was taking me scoob
