Forge Motorsport are a good manufacturer of dump valves.I (And a few others) have run these on our cars and eventually sold em cos the noise gets on ya **** after a while!! (IMHO)
They don't affect performance but on the plus side,we never noticed a change in how the car idles (After reading Scoobynet, this was one of my concerns!! )
You can fit it yourself.I am far from technical with cars and it takes 30 mins max to fit as it just bolts onto the original intercooler.I'm in Preston Brook so can lend a hand if you get stuck!! lol

Edited to say you have double double posted this thread/content lol

Collins do an excellent dump valve bolts straight onto the intercooler. It only takes a minute to fit.I have one fitted to my sti 8 and they sound fantastic very loud indeed.

Cost around £150.

I fitted a bailey motorsport one to a my03 wrx lastweek, and its running fine so far (touch-wood). I wouldnt pay someone to fit it, they are sooooo easy, took me literally minutes to do mine. If you want pics or anymore advice, let me know.
