In the last few months The Cumbria Safety Camera Van Partnership have set up Camera vans with laser speed guns, which cover several roads in Cumbria at different times. Its not only Cumbria where Camera Van Partnerships are in operation, its in areas all over the country. This link will be able to tell you exactly where the Cumbrian camera vans will be on the night of the cruise so I hope you will be able to cruise with ease.
