Meet this wednesday, usual spot, at the H&H, then a short drive cross country to somewhere nice.
I think with all the stuff we have planned over the next 3 months, it would be a good idea to sit down and confirm everything, and go over some details.
If you are planning routes to outings (steel) then bring that along, or at least a road atlas!
It's about time we just actually sat down and had a good get together.
Say a pub around the outskirts of macc, so the stoke guys don't have to come so far, kind of meet us halfway, how about the pub we met in that was in the middle of nowhere, was it the SWETTENHAM ARMS?? steel, you remember it dont you?

Andy I honestly dont know whos instructing tomorrow. Its literally a turn up and see who you get day. It will be my first time there so its all relatively new to me as far as Hill-climbing is concerned. Sorry I cant give anymore information.

 

You should have great fun Harewood is a brilliant hill, driven there a few times Say hello from the DJ Racecars crew. Some of the drivers are awsome, David Grace was hillclimb champion 5 times over and was or maybe still is in charge of Rockingham.

hehe no problem m8. 'Tis a shame 'cos the place will go partly to waste. The g/f is now coming but she wont have a car to drive as she has sold hers. At least she should be able to get some useful tips from the instructors.

Is there any great risk of me "stuffing it" as I have not taken out any special insurance because the instruction is not timed therefore not technically a race day or anything.

 

I doubt it very much the instuctors will keep you within your limits.
Can she not drive yours?

Unfortunately she isnt insured on it because of the cost. Its a bit big for her anyway!

I only watched Steels and Chris's just to test my broadband connection. it took me till about 2.30 to configure the dam thing only to realize I had use proxy server enabled dooh!!!!!!!
