Good Afternoon All!

Taken from the: MKIVsupra.net.bbs

-----------------------------------------------------------------
To all I have chance to run another top speed day, elvington (main tarmac runway)using the full 2 miles this time, probably having the gear at 1.5 to 1.6miles (instead of 1.25m! ie. someone may crack 200mph!)

we can also run timed 1/4s in addition.

Cost would be £70 for the day, open to anyone and any club, pass it onto anyone interested. clubs/groups can get a rep to deal with me direct if they like, but it would be open event and pay on day, 10am-5pm.

Email me if interested, date would be Sunday 27th october.
I have hotels and b+b /camping info if people want to make it a meet.

List of names please..............

-----------------------------------------------------------------
P.s. If anyone's interested I can let my mate know and he can inform the guys on the Supra Bulletin Board of names/numbers etc.

Cheers

Think i said this before, I think there are alot of rolling road days organsied for that day, both north and south. Will try and call in on the way home, assuming not too dark by then.

Hamie, get yourself on the Well Lane day, and then i can show you how my MY00 will beat your STi, courtesy of you and others of course

Probably alot...!!

Ive heard prices from £200-£500

Just had the cam belt done 3000 miles ago, and apparently it needs changing when the crank seal goes..!!!

The seal only bloody costs £6.50..!!

I here it is only £30 per person now for this event, although I'm still unsure of how many people will be turning-up on the day.

I've just fitted a Magnex 6" x 4" back box, although I don't think it will make that much difference in the performance on the day.

I'm really worried about the other tuned cars there i.e. Super Charged Saxo's which will leave me for dead on the day.....

My cars in for it's 60K major service today so it should run sweet.

Cheers

Hi Dan,

You should look out for a MY97 UK Red Turbo with gold wheels with a front spliter similar to yours.

P.s. I'm not too worried out the Skyline's & Supra's 'cause I now that they would beat even a modded Scoob. I think the tuned Saxo's will take us by suprise and even a V8 Granada if it's there again.

P.s.s. My No. plate is very similar to my name also.

Cheers

just to confirm it is indeed 30 quid only, but it is open to all, and there will be a few bikes there racing the cars.
quite a few top cars promising to come who took part in ten of the best.
if it rains it will still go ahead, if it absolutely chucks it down the top speed runs may be curtailed a bit but head to head drag wont! 10am ownards, spectators welcome , £5 on gate
looks like a fair selection of cars from 200+, skylines, supras, gtir and rs owners plus sidc etc

Im taking my Gixer 750 along (subject to weather) Hopefully the grippy nature of the place will see my times back down below 11. It will probably finish my clutch off as well....
