I can't normally resist messing with my cars but I'm going to be driving this daily and the ej isn't the most reliable so don't wanna go crazy

It has had a 2.5" ss exhaust done at Tony banks in Leeds before I bought it, not too loud as has cat res and back box but still louder than stock I may remove the res if it will make much different but don't want it to be obnoxious I would like to put a boost gague inside the car somwere but without damaging any of the interior as it's immaculate inside, I would like a bov but I have heard the ej doesn't really like them and it's best to stick with the standard recirc?

im a big fan of how it sits on the stock impreza wheels it came with from factory so I'm sticking with those for now aswell, as far as mods go it would probably just be to get a bit more noise from the exhaust or turbos from the intake etc, these are 280hp stock and get about 25mpg so don't really want it drinking any more than it does or to make it any more unreliable by messing with stuff atleast until I learn more about the motor (first time subie owner but know what I'm doing with cars in general )

Sounds good mate. I ran a BOV for the noise with standard maf. A bit of over fueling I think but then I went mafless and went with a louder bov lol.

I love the sound but I want to try and avoid any major issues with it so I'm babying it at the moment until I get used to the platform it's my first Subaru so new to me

I will mess with it but I like to learn about the platform first as this is immaculate and runs amazing so don't want to ruin it

Well that didn't last long 🤣, so far I've removed the snorkus, the centre exhaust resenator, done the hose 10 mod (works great) and replaced a ton of vacuum lines for silicone due to old ones being hard, and put a new intercooler to tb hose aswell
