Default When roads attack...

Well, driving through Yorkshire and it's many, many pitholes and s***e roads has finally taken it's toll. Not managing to avoid a pothole so big it should be classed as a chasm, there was a not very nice sounding thud from the offside rear wheel which now gives a repeat performance on EVERY bump in the road and it now feels like I have no suspension on that corner

Now, knowing absoltely **** all about suspension, I'm hoping someone can ease my mind slightly and tell me it's not likely to be the expensive bit that needs replacing... please More so, I'm wondering if driving it is likely to cause any more damage until I can get it fixed?

Try and get photo of said chasm....
If it has been reported, and then ignored you may be able to claim for damages off the council responsible....

As for damage try and get a proper diagnosis asap, you need to know if it's going to cause more damage if you keep using it....

Cheers guys Had someone look at it today and there doesn't appear to be any major damage, which is a relief Seems to be the bushes are knackered, so I'll be taking a trip to RE Motorsport as soon as I can.

Dunx, thanks for the advice It hadn't been reported, and they've filled it within 48 hours of me reporting it.
