1st time ever, and for some reason i imagined the main commentator would be an ex competitor !?
TdF in this case. Is this same with all the sports?

Much prefer itv4 people but can only get it on tvcatchup beamed from playbook hdmi, which isn't as good pic

I think their main commentator is off ill. They are using Carlton Kirby as the 'main' this year -- not sure of his 'sporting' background. The other guy, David Harmon, has a background in Mountain Bike racing

Ah this starts to make sense, I know they got Messrs Kelly chipping in as well but I was a little surprised

do a search on David Harmon, some results claim he is suffering from depression...

do a search on Carlton Kirby, some results claim he is suffering from excitability!!!

He's alright really in a semi amusing non cycling way

Can't figure why we're watching the time trail right now instead of stage 5 live

They seem to vary their coverage depending on stage
If it is a big one, such as alpe d'huez they start coverage early.
More general ones, they show last couple of hours.

Bit late to be telling you, but up until last year you could watch Eurosport (not the British one) for FREE on the old Astra satellite system! -- they switched it off when they went Digital....

I believe you can still watch it for free if you know where to point your satellite dish, but it is only in German now.....
