Does anyone remember the good old days before Facebook when you had to take a photo of your dinner, get your film developed and printed, then go around all of your friend's houses to show them the picture of your dinner?
I couldn't agree more..... I was persuaded to try Instagram the other week and when I looked at it people were posting pictures of a cup of coffee FFS! Sad *****!

I also don't remember hundreds of people running up to & queuing outside every phone box on the way home to say where they where & how long it would take them to get home.
It's largely just a platform for attention seekers. The amount of half rants I see, then dare to ask if they are ok or what's wrong and all you get is 'nothing' or 'I can't say' etc. Well if you have something to say, say it or STFU and don't post at all!
Then all the photos of people posing on their own for their phone. It's just odd.

Exactly. Or that they are going in the bath, or that they can't be bothered, or they are bored, so on.

I suppose it's ok if you're just doing it to annoy certain people

I believe that would mostly be the under 30's (not old and bitter 40 year old)

I transit through Changi airport in Singapore quite a lot and whenever a flight lands there is a literal stampede for the free net terminals they ave all over the airport and 99% of people are straight onto Facebook ... it's like the 7 hours they just had to endure without it almost kills them. Pathetic!
Instagram and pics of people's tedious little brats is a good observation of a reason to stay away from it. Cats of Instagram is great though
