Could be Muslims, or someone trying to whip up even more anti Muslim sentiment, jet wash it off and don't publicise it.

Only for mischievious purposes.

All joking aside the defacing of these memorials is disgutsing no matter who has done it. I hope they get properly cleaned up and it is prevented from happening again. It's too much to hope they catch the perpetrators sadly

Meanwhile we have this...

http://www.standard.co.uk/news/londo...e-8638934.html

Between this and the desecration of war memorials by Islamists, it's a pretty accurate snapshot of the UK right now. Nothing is sacred to our foreign friends.

No proof the war memorials were vandalised by Islamists.

Your attitude is the only thing that is representative of the UK today!

Easy to weave together any 2 news stories into a 'the country's going to the dogs' sensation

You need to think a bit more, and post a little less (actually that would be a pretty good mantra for a few on here)

You could start with yourself.

Don't do that, most people probably agree with your views.

it's a matter of choice really. You choose to fall into the trap of giving the extremists (on all sides) the reaction they crave or even inadvertently become their mouthpiece.

I choose not to.

Shameful,selfish and childish behaviour.

The guilty desrve a very heavy punishment if caught.

Become their mouthpiece - you think my view is 'extremist'?

No I think it's just an over-reaction to some well timed and well place provocation

But I just heard Nick Gfiffin use exactly the same set of words as you did earlier about 'burying heads in sand'.

I would ask you how many such incidents need to happen before you would think, 'hang on, maybe there's something amiss here'
