A bit harsh? Are you forgetting just how much of an disapointment that thing above was following on from the classic? it was (and still is ) ******* hideous, the only difference now is people have grown used to the uglyness of it.

 

What kind of person actually chooses wheels like that anyway?

 

I know. You are right. I remember seeing a picture of the bugeye for the first time and just thought it was a joke. Couldn't believe when my dealer sent through a brochure. Don't think Subaru ever recovered really. They had the classic to build and capitalise on and basically f**ked it up.

 

I almost broke into tears when I first seen it, it was actually that bad.

 

Good to see the Aztek on the list, as well as the wankermobile BMW

 

Subaru managed two in the top ten!

Pontiac Aztek, is my number one.

 

Don't you find with those Multipla thing the person driving them tends to look like the car

 

There is that truly hideous Japanese Subaru thing looks like a Victorian wardrobe crossed with a wagon. Can't remember the name of it?

 

Naa they must have overlooked that one! that would be another candidate though.

 

Well I quite liked the quirky styling of our bugeye

Quite an achievement for a small manufacturer like Subaru to have 2 cars in the top 10 I agree with most of the others, but the X6 is not ugly, I wouldn't say no.....

 

Agreed, I would quite happily own an X6.

 

They're aren't great at styling vans either:

 

X6 is OK....yes its Poncy, but so is a RR sport.

I forgot how bad a Scorpio was/is. Now they've dated I think they look even worse!

I thought the Cherokee looked alright, ok I still wouldn't buy one, but thats only because it American made and a SUV...and I hate both.

 

I wouldn't say it's the ugliest, but I'd put it in the top one.

I had just bought one of the last of the UK Turbo 2000s new and the salesman had been trying to persuade me to wait for the new model.... I'd seen a pic and wasn't keen so I bought the Turbo 2000. When I took it for its 1000 mile service the salesman spoke to me and said very condescendingly 'come and see what you could have had' ..... he then showed me a green bugeye WRX wagon..... I was still laughing at him as I drove away. What a hideous car!

However in 2007 Subaru delivered us the marque killing hatch and after seeing that complete and utter piece of **** the bugeye has always looked pretty good!

 

It's the Subaru story - fantastic engineering, they just forget to make it look nice!

 

I don't think the X6 is particularly ugly either, quite like it in fact, looks like some kind of thing that Batman would drive. They are all driven by c*nts though

 

Bloody hell the CoG in that thing must be abysmal..

 

It looks like it's going to roll over . . . and it isn't even moving

 

Thats what I was thinking too, look at the height of it against the narrowness of the tyres, just dosen't look stable at all..
