Without arrogance, you won't get very far in any Motorsport. Of in fact any sport.

Not strictly true Matee. There are a lot of world champions who are humble and down to earth. Mo Farah is a prime example.

Watched an interview with him ages ago. Basically just slated the UK and gobbled off off about how much better Switzerland was. Quite obviously forgotten where he came from.

On the flip side, vettel seems to come across as a top bloke, as does button and many other f1 drivers, so it's not all F1 drivers. You only have to look at Hamiltons chav ear-studs to realise he's a bell!!

No doubt lots of people on here will say "oh he's a mint driver etc etc"......how many drivers go into the wrong pits? Lol!! FAIL!!!

Jealousy isn't even a factor either?? No doubt there's rich people that everyone hates. I'm not rich but I'm not poor. Tell you what I have that Lewis Hamilton will never have?......medals on my chest! All the money in the world can't buy you those or the respect from people that comes with it!!

I agree, the best sportsmen 'know' they are the best so when under pressure they perform well and have no negative thoughts that can hold them back. Thats why some psychologists prefer it when sportsmen blame other factors for their failure as at teast it keeps their mentality strong. Thoe who appear humble are usually pretending.

Having met Hamilton last year I can say that he really seemed like a good bloke,he even had time to have a chat with my two girls as well. As for Raikonnen, now there is an ignorant man.

Looking at the difference between Mercedes and Mclaren at the moment Lewis obviously made the right choice.

Exactly. Even the "top blokes" will have a ruthless streak. It's simply not possible to win at the highest level without epic levels of self belief, a ruthless attitude and the ability to occasionally trample over others. Even the lovely Mo will have a mean streak; its just incredibly well covered up by his press team.

Besides, McLaren did say he could pop back when ever he was in the area.

Not sure they meant on race day though lol

Off you go to Switzerland then, do the uk a favour!

Ha damn you guys are so angry!! I still think Hamilton is a k n o b, nothing will change that fact! If it weren't for his hatred of the UK, my thoughts may change. Actually, they wouldn't. Maybe I'm a closet racist and haven't realised yet? There's summink about him. An air of arrogance whenever he's on tv!

Oh no, your one of those who trawls through posts picking up on incorrect grammer / grammar errors, then spends 30 mins checking your own post before you press the 'submit reply' button hesitantly lol!

I am very sorry I used the word 'summink' instead of 'something'. Please forgive me. Next time I will check, double check, and then check again. Just for you!

im with PeeDee on this, cant stand Hamilton....

Saw a few interviews with him and just comes acorss as a ****....
Especially when he retires from a race or gets a penalty and blames others... everytime.... I see him drive out the pits once on a red light got penalised for it and blamed it on the boys in the garage for not telling him... can he not see the big **** off red light at the end of the pits!

Quick Reply: Hamilton
