English should quite definitely be one of, if not the language they're taught in imo

 

english school in an english city, teach in english if they dont like it either learn english or fuck off back home.

i work with a few guys from peterborough and they say its getting worse by the day and dreading when they let the romanians in.

I'm all for this kind of school, provided at least 50% of the day is spent teaching the kids there how to read and write English!

immigration is fine if they add something to the community, unfortunately a lot (not all) are only in the uk to get something for nothing using the benefits system.

Exactly! I was born here, worked and never claimed anything since i left school. When i was off work due to an illness i had to fight for £30 a week to help pay my rent (i was only off for 6weeks). Then you see people coming over and claiming so much money, that i wouldnt have a chance of getting. im not racist, im all for people coming over to find work etc.. but the system sucks!

I now know a few people who have emigrated to france. Their children went to French schools, primary and secondary.

They WERE given cram lessons in basic French, but ALL other lessons were in French, no extra help being given.

We, on the other hand..........

And it's the same in everyday life: over here, your bank/council/utility provider etc will provide you with all your documentation in YOUR language.

In France, it's in very heavy French...tough luck.
And misunderstand....your problem. You owe THEM money, better pay it back quick, or bailiffs are involved. They owe you money? Well, you've seen the "Gallic shrug" have you?

That's in the county as a whole. The same would be said of North Lincs...but the TOWNS are a different story, ours, for example has a very large % of Asians.

And I defy you to hear English spoken on the streets midweek, or in the town supermarkets, they are both full of all those eastern Europeans who come here to work...but aren't, unless they are ALL on nights
