This is a career choice for these n*bs they think benefits are a given right and have no responsibilities at all not even for their own kids!!
They even justified their payout by saying their families paid in WTF?,
I know of families where 3 generations of them have never worked and have no intention to. They just use the system while we work are asses off and get taxed more!
I'll say it again, why would you have a child if you have not got a job?

Go to Speccys, F1. He looks nothing like James Arthur. For a start, he has half an eyebrow for each of his eyes, whereas Arthur has none at all.
Anyway, I thought you get your @rse kicked these days by this Tory government if you are idle?? How come they pull in 17 grand for doing nothing? I don't get it.

Never! As he doesn't know it is happening, I really doubt he reads the DM and the guradian wouldn't report such an insignificant story because it doesn't affect the toffs.

There was an article in the Express last week something similar to this...
There was a foreign lady in her twenties saying how strange the system is here in the UK. It had a breakdown of what she gets, and it came to about £350 per week from benefits, PLUS she made a special effort to work less than 16 hours a week, so she was still entitled to these benefits, which took her take-home money to £450 a week.
When you see it broken down like this, it shows you how terrible and crazy it really is.

No point blaming the people. You have to blame the system..............
The welfare state needs revising bigtime...........
Although removing benefits altogether will only bring back poverty.....I'm all for it lol
We can send them off to the workhouses

Exactly!
I don't mind telling you I've had the snip, I did this because me and my wife cannot afford anymore children and I wanted my wife off the pill, it just seems if you make and ignorant decision to have children you cannot afford the government thinks you should have the same quality of life as someone who works 6 days a week!!!
It's wrong, very very wrong!
I know of families who make a choice to live in a council house and because of this have more disposable income than any working person I know, more holidays, uggs, Ipads etc and openly say you must be daft for working so hard for a lifestyle that's not as rich as theirs!
I will add yes it is the systems fault for allowing this but I equate it to taking sweets from a child, it's easily done but we know it's not right.

Yes, yes, the state benefits scroungers are at the bottom of the whole problem, just like it was the public sector and their pensions when the Tories got in.
They will blame anyone but their pals the bankers.
First you vilify in the media, then you can do what you want.......now haven't we seen THAT somewhere before?

I'd rather work and live in a decent house with fewer luxuries, compared to a council house.
I'm really stereotyping here, but I'm sure that people that live in council houses look like the above people in that article, and probably a lot of them single parents. Slugs.

IMO if they want to keep their benefits technically the government own their ***** so they should be bound to employment from local councils to do things people that community service do. Things that no one will do anymore, jobs like cleaning graffiti off buildings etc. They'd soon get there ***** into Asda stacking shelves then.

There's more to it than just blaming them. The problem is that wages for the low skilled are falling, yet the cost of living is rocketing. If you remove benefits, the consequence will be more poverty. Fine, but be prepared to accept it.

A very valid point. There is no defence for some workshy layabout screwing the system, but there are very few low skilled jobs that pay a wage that someone can live on. The influx of foreign EU nationals who will do twice the work for half the pay further compounds the problem. The employers and company owners may well be benefiting from this cheap and plentiful labour but it is squeezing the low skilled.

As far as I can tell the wages are rising each year or stagnating depending on the employer. However the cost of living is rising quicker.
I'd happily pay my staff 30k per year each, however the cost of making the products we produce would soar, people would stop ordering and we'd all be out of a job.
I have two members of staff whinging about their pay consistently, how unfair it is etc. yet they still find enough to buy 50 **** per week. These are also the same people refusing to put themselves out and work overtime. I have no sympathy.
Benefits should be there to help people when they need it, not be a lifestyle choice.
