Can't see that happening for a second bearing in mind NK has China as an ally. If things do escalate Cuba may well be involved.

Cant see China defending NK to be honest, think of the trade they would lose out on, they would be fcuked without dealings with the USA and Europe, nobody would benifit from a nuclear war. I also think China are a little embarrased by NK's antics...

NK are deluded if they think a missile would make it to the states before being shot down.

Then it would be raining missiles from the four corners of the globe in NK, i recon they would be pretty much wiped of the planet.

Conclusion, sabre rattling.

They cannot put a small enough warhead onto their delivery systems to reach the USA.

Sabre Rattling .......... I see that China are starting to melt with regards NK support.

NK and Iran are going to get some kicking before very long IMO.

The japs attacked pearl harbour in 1941 and killed thousands whilst pretending to be allies.
The Arizona ship still has over a thousand bodies in it, a permant reminder of the japs cowardly attack.
Then in 1945 America taught the japs a big lesson in the form of 2 atom bombs, some months later the Japs surrender.
I think nk should be very wary of saying such provocative things as it is a sign of intent!

That might have something to do with them knowing which side their bread is buttered, all well and good offering moral support in the good times, but when it comes to crunch time, can China afford to alienate the rest of the world, with all the effort they have put into their infrastructure so as to be able to supply us with more crap faster and for less.

As for the kicking, i think the only way forward for the US is to keep taking the rich kids lunch money.

US wont attack them. due to 1 simple thing. NK have nuclear weapons, they may not be advanced enough to put on a missile but the US still wont risk it. The US cant nuke the north because it will f+ck up the south too lol

Getting your country some nukes is the sure way to stop the US from attacking you.

The Cuban Missile Crisis.

Ironic isn't it? Iraq was under scrutiny for so long suspected of having WMD and none were found. NK has such weapons and the rhetoric from Washington is completely different. These rogue states were collectively known as 'the axis of evil'. Once Iraq was dealt with NK's status was downgraded to 'the arch of extremism' As Andy Parsons from Mock The Week joked what expression will be used next? In keeping with geometric and softening language theme 'the semi circle of mischief'?

wont make any difference that they do have some. A few fired will be easy to take down with todays weapons.

It was massive attacks of dozens of missiles and hundreds of warheads that are an issue. Russia was a danger becuase it had hundreds of missiles, meaning hundreds if not thousands of warheads.

NK will have a few missiles, they will be poorly maintained and a reasonable % will fail to reach the target (bad if your in the flight path) even before the anti missile defence's kick in, which will mean a low probability of any anctualy getting through.

NK is seen as a military power because of high troop numbers, the ability to actualy use and support that number for a conflict of any length is very limited though.

NK is not the power house it wants to think or make out it is.

The rhetoric from North Korea is also isolating them from china too.

They're basically cheesing everyone off at the moment.

This what happens when someone with no life experience gains control of a country.

He is younger than me for christ sake!

Boys playing with toys. He is probably told by his inner circle that he is indestructbale or some such nonsense. You can't threaten Nuclear war and expect to get away with it.

What NK have done so many times is get all threatening then back off and say sorry and in return US sends them food and help to stop them starving.

What a diabolical country.
