On average, how much data do you use per month on your phone ?
Just wanted to start off by wishing everyone all the best for 2013.
I was just curious as to how much data people are using on average per month on their phone, its just so i can haggle with my provider if i think i'm going to need more. Basically they have given me 1GB per month with my new plan.
I intend to use the phone for listening to the radio occasionally, some sat nav, streaming which i know eats data and all the usual stuff you do on the move.
I'd be interested to hear how much data people are using per month.

mobile BB rates and quantity's are an expensive joke!
I get an allowance of 1Gig and pay extra for another 1 gig
and i still run over most months.
and that's just browsing in breaks at work and streaming the odd podcast
i don't even think of streaming video it is pathetic really.

I have a 1g limit and use it up in about three weeks. It does not help that since I got an I****phone it will not connect to 90% of wireless netwroks so I have to use data for almost everything.

Don't use anything on the phone as its too small, but get through 3 gig a month with the iPad on giffgaff , usually mostly using Skype to talk to the wife and kids while I'm away at work

None ! £10/m contract for ??? minutes and 200 txts. Never go over, never bolt-on or top-up. Use WiFi at home or in cafes etc, apart from that I don't need to be connected all the time, and don't want to be. I prefer to have some time during the day when I am not available, even turning the phone off if I am certain the family is safe. It used to be that if you were out of the office you could have a bit of a break, but now people are obsessed with working every minute of the day. Get a foofing life, and a real one, not a cyber one !

ah yes the unlimited by the dictionary term is actually capped.
Had that one with 3 before I moved my daughter from them £90 bill which they wrote off as I took them to task on the words unlimited and said I would happily goto court with the explanation of what unlimited is by definition. They backed down.

It seems to be a mixed bag, some don't use much where as others use a load.
I just checked my plan that ive signed up for, i spoke to a girl at Vodafone and she said its 2GB data a month where as the guy who took my order said 1GB, i'll take her world for it
Vodafone don't do unlimited data, i tried to do a bit of haggling with her to get unlimited, i said i'll even nip round and do her hoovering for a week if she can get me unlimited data, didn't work as she wanted the dishes and ironing doing as well.
