I juts sold 2 items on ebay..

they were both bought by international buyers, one in the USA and one isn Tiwan...

i think using uk account.

one guy said ship to a uk address and he has already paid via paypal..!!!! if i look in paypal or the invoice that went to him..its in chineese...??

the other guy said he will pay for postage to the us - if its too much he will pay to get it shipped to the uK..

does this should fishy..?

 

What did Ebay advise when you phoned their helpline?

 

I have done this when people refuse to ship stuff to Germany. I get it shipped to a mate in the UK then get it shipped on by my mate.

However it is upto you to decide if this is fishy or not, I am an honest person.

just worried that paypal payments are not guaranteed..and they can take the money back out

 

How about phoning Ebay then?

 

They could say the item wasn't recieved to PayPal who will take the funds back off you without asking first most likely.

 

If payment has been made via PayPal it will show S credited, They can not take the money back when this has happened without opening a dispute, if they have paid what you have asked and it is showing as cleared then I would say you have little to worry about, just send it here they have specified and be done with it not every one is a crook, trouble is the ones that are casts a bad view over international sales. Check the money had been cleared, transfer it to what ever account you use so PayPal had zero balance and again no worries, they can't see your bank details only your email so I wouldn't panic

 

that would be quite a good mornings project, to find a phone number for Ebay and get connected to human being who knows what day of the week it is.

Nah it's not that bad, although the contact number isn't especially easy to find i'll concede. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes, and you get the pleasure of a nice Irish accent along with expert advice.

Signed for delivery, and if they state it aint been delivered then omen lies with couriers to sort out reimbursement as you will have proof it got collected by the couriers, so if its lost its their problem, just make sure its signed for and tracked delivery and insurance is taken out

 

Agreed but the OP was talking about sending items abroad which is more difficult and extremely expensive where tracked delivery is concerned.

 

And next time you sell, make it quite clear in the advert, as well as the exclusions, that under NO circumstances will you ship abroad.
Tell them any bids from abroad will be cancelled.
