Default Yodel , anyone else had problems?

Afternoon all,
Just wondering if anyone else has had problems with this outfit?

Waiting for a delivery yesterday, delivery slot is between 0700-2100!
So waited in all chuffin day, nothing.

Checked the online tracking last night, and its marked as delivered?

Phoned their pathetic contact centre this morning to be told that my parcel was delivered yesterday at 1400

I pointed out that I was outside in the front garden all day yesterday in the pouring rain digging footings, and no parcel has come here.

This isn't the first time either, had this a few weeks ago with a delivery from a totally different source, and again a couple of months ago, same scenario again!

How the hell can this company still be trading when their this crap?

Unfortunately for them, this particular parcel has a tracking chip in it as it was high value, and at this moment in time all evidence appears to point to a thieving driver

The chip has been tracked and it looks like its at the drivers home address, will know for definate later on when plod get back in touch.

Anyone else had similar experience with this shower of Shyte?

Had a £650 laptop left in our shed last week, no signature needed?
Today, 2 parcels put in our wheelie bin, card through the door, but the parcels are for our neighbors!!
So I'd check to see if they've been delivered next door

Quite surprising what happens when you get fraud prevention involved.

After numerous phone calls back and forth, I have traced it myself, managed to get hold of a number for the driver himself, rang him and by some form of divine miracle he's going to be here within the hour!

I wait with baited breath!

Left a parcel in the alcove behind the stairs of our offices. No-one was informed, "but it's been signed for!" and it took ages to find.

They are useless, lots of bad stories I've heard from friends and colleagues and not been too happy myself with the odd delivery. Put Parcelfarce as impecible lol!

I can't stand Yodel, to a point that I have even asked a retailer which delivery company they use and when they've said they use Yodel, I've asked the retailer to use someone else and when they said that they couldn't, I've bought the item from someone else!

3 days waiting for a collection that never came...

We did get one delivery from them - the driver literally dropped it, knocked on the door and ran away

All in the past month.

I was working at someone's house recently and whilst out in the garden, a Yodel delivery driver turned up, and put a large parcel on the front doorstep. He never rang the bell or knocked the door or even looked in my direction. I could have picked the parcel up and put it straight in my van and nobody would have been the wiser!

paid for premium next day pre 10am delivery for funeral flowers to get to leeds for this morning.
Mother was in all day theres always someone in the office (dads a school caretaker) expressly told them how important it was that the parcel was collected yesterday for delivery today.
never F**king turned up, so now have had to resend by parcel force next day guaranteed, but will now be a day late.
not the first time I have had problems but was persuaded by there customer services manager few weeks ago to give them another try. moneys been refunded, they did offer a £50 worth of free deliverys to which i laughed and told them to stick it. Myself and business will NEVER use them again. I would rather take my chance with RM.

Not strictly true as I paid £25 for there next day 10am delivery compared to Parcel Forces £18.96.

simple fact is they are arseholes who need to learn to run a decent business. God knows what there driver training is like.

yodel are utter rubbish. I will never use them agiain. 2 days waiting for a collection - 4 phonecalls each person saying yes they will be there even after the driver had marked it as no access to property 3 hours earlier...

A email of complaint with an automated reply to say they will be in touch and yet 4 weeks later nothing.
