Default Speakers for Viera

Purchased this tv few months ago, I also have no bluray player or indeed hifi system in living room ( my hifi such as it is, 15 year old separates are downstairs in my workshop)

Any suggestions?

How much do you want to spend?

I ended up spending more on the TV audio than on buying the TV itself!

Its a good deal, basically works out at just £100 for the amp (speakers usually retail at £400). I bought that pacakge so I could use the amp at the folks (already have a Onkyo) and get rid of my current Tannoys HTS (good, but never been totally happy with them). The DX1 are better IMO.

edit...out of stock now, maybe worth phoning though.

I wouldn't like to be spending as much as the tv for sure , unless I'm including a reasonable av. Amp I suppose
Do people have separate /combined amps just for music anymore?

It's all so complicated nowadays isn't it?

Thanks for that

A decent soundbar is also worth thinking about.
