Alright everyone i got a cheap run around and want to make it look tidy but cant decide whether to spray the alloys gloss white or gloss black !

The colour of the car is Diablo Red ..

Help needed please vote as il be purchasing the colour tomorrow and can't make my mind up !

always been a fan of white alloys with red cars, its really the only colour i think suits white alloys

 

I've ordered 12 rattle cans off ebay.. (under £18 delivered) to do my winter alloys for this year.

hmmm white does go well with red but so does black, it should look good either way so dont fret but for convenience of cleaning etc go black

 

yeah post your before and after pics on here bud ... i dont mind cleaning reckon im going to go with white but thenb black also looks nice atm there silver but they need a good refurb so i faancy doing a spray myself to get practice

 

A white car is bad enough to keep clean, but I think keeping white wheels clean alone would make me suicidal.

 

White wheels are lovely, just give them a really good coat of rim wax and they clean just as easily as the rest!

 

Is it true white is best color for bodywork cos it shows defects less....?

 

Wax doesn't stop the burnt in brake disc metal getting ingrained though

Maybe I should use less abrasive pads again, but the last time I did that, they glazed and screwed up the ABS (no brakes).

Our local B&M do a range of spray paints suitable for wheels (it says on the tin) for a couple of quid

I wish I'd done the wheels on my silver Wagon that sky neon blue now instead of boring sleeper anthracite

 

Brought my cans today i also brought a can spray gun which will make it alot easier will post pics of the stages from cleaning , prep , to primer to finish gloss white and lacuer stages

 

GLOSS WHITE THE ALLOYS WILL BE
