Default Android phone gone to hell...

It did a software upgrade recently which changed the interface significantly and altered a few features. Now the phone is very slow at times, and I think it's been missing some calls without listing them as missed. Phone is a HTC.

did you plug it into charger whilst doing update as that causes it to fail.you need to do full factory reset of phone for all the update to work.just start phone and go into settings and go to storage and at the bottom is factory reset.you will loose all data but the difference in the phone is night and day.just done my htc incredible s with the ics update and runs so much faster.

It's funny the way people get all tribal and partisan about phones, cars, tablets etc.

Find a piece of tech that doesn't need rebooting/resetting at some point whether it be a phone/tablet/laptop/desktop/server and branding makes no difference. At some point they all need resetting. I've even had to 'reboot' our cordless phones in the house by taking the batteries out and putting them back in when they became unresponsive.
