He's pretty nifty in these stage managed videos but can't cut the mustard in real competitions. Flopped in the WRC and was beaten by Tanner Foust at his own Gymkhana event. A rather less flattering video of him.

How so? He's scoring points in the WRC and having a good time doing it. Pretty sure he's won Rally America too.

Seeing that guy wondering off with the bumper at the end of the video made me wonder, what happens with bits that fly off cars during rally stages? Are the public allowed to just keep them?!

No one goes looking for lost parts. Some are brought back to the service park.

Yep indeed so Block may as well stick to churning out these edited self made videos advertising HIS products.

And I'm sure he will, along with the WRC, Rally America and Global Rally Cross. Good on him I say, anything that brings youth to motorsport deserves credit.

p.s. he sold DC Shoes.

The problem is that youth can't get into motorsport. At least not into rallying. That's why the WRC is sh*te.

**** me, that's edited like an 80's kung-fu movie. The same 'move' shown from 5 different angles.
Whilst I don't argue he has obvious skills, the fact he can do this in a car doesn't mean he can be a competitive race driver (Tiff was a rubbish racing driver as well but can do tricks).
The fact you can see loads of tyre marks where he's had a number of practices at each move shows the fact he would struggle to chain things together in a rally stage.

Love it! He is not fast in the WRC but its a high average and private teams have less chances than factory teams. But a good Entertainer and still good driver.

Block is great at what he does...showmanship...but as Maz said, when its for real he just falls short....Just like freestyle footballers, all the tricks but cant actually play.

Just check out Loeb giving Americas finest( Block and Foust) a true driving lesson in X games 2012..
