Default Where to buy fake foliage house plants?

I'm after buying a fake house plant for near front door - I want something about 5ft tall and not more then about 18" width.
Been looking online and some of these fake bamboo trees look nice or even a fake cactus but only problem is they are all online places. Can't seem to find any diy shops like B & Q selling them or homebase but as being fake they may not look good so i want to see them in flesh first - anyone have any idea where might sell the sort of thing I'm after, as i dont wish to spend hours driving round various shops to find nothing.
Incidentally if anyone was watching 'come dine with me' yesterday (5/6/12) from Burton-on-trent the woman hosting it had something like what I'm after by her front door.
Can't even seem to find anything in any garden centres near me either - any help?

ebay, or department stores, or find someone who has one and ask?
Also try shopfitters?

Don't want to risk ebay as i wish to see in person first and don't know anyone with one.

I know it's on-line but I bought a couple from Viking some time ago and they were fine. Here are some but more expensive than I imagined.
