Thought i saw hear somewhere recently that satellite co-ax is better than normal co-ax for connecting a tv to an aerial. Is this right as i'm not happy with the picture on a small tv/vid. combi i've just got.The picture is fine on the main set which sits just the otherside of a wall from the combi and was wondering if it was interference of some description.Assuming satellite co-ax is better because it's shielded.
Any thoughts on any of this?

No.
You want MF100 TV aerial downlead coax. As for the picture ensure that you have made good terminations. What have you used to split/extend the existing cable?

The cable i made up was using plastic connectors. Are these inferior to the aluminium ones?
As for the connections/splitting of the main cable i don't know as our builder did it .The new tv is in the conservatory/extension.
