Default selling on ebay and tax question

I had quite a significant brainfart yesterday that could make me a small but reasonable amount of cash on the side which would come in handy to pay for luxuries.

What's the craic with selling multiples on ebay and paying tax on it? How do you go about it, do you have to register as a trader?

keep it simple and are you sure you can make money on ebay its hard work, if you register it with HMRC (most don't) by the time you have put your running costs through HMRC could be sending you a cheque every year
