Should be interesting if you've not done downhill before, have you got a proper downhill bike or are they supplying?

I live only down road from stile cop and regularly ride the xc routes around there and have also rode some of the downhill routes on my hardtail bike - but must admit i used to go round the big jumps as im a chicken about going **** over tea kettle and breaking either me or my bike.

But when i am around that area i see how busy it gets so im guessing plenty of local riders enjoy downhilling there.

Hope you enjoy your ride there.

I wish you luck anyway. Hope you have a high capacity braking system.

Go to a few places locally, swinley forest, ash ranges, newlands corner and peaslake are the normal ones, plenty to do at all of these with Swinley having some downhill stuff

When I first went to cwm carn on my meta 55 I cooked the brakes in about three runs, bike felt like it was going to fall apart as well, got a proper downhill bike afterwards.
