Ive been given a bottle of Glenfidick,it was bought in 1990,its in a nice tin, hasnt been opened, but it has got a few bits in it,they dont float, look like dandruff(ive opened myself up to a torrent of abuse here).Would it be ok to drink

If its not been opened, so no oxygen has got to it, then it should be fine. Dont worry about the bits. Slowly decant it (if you want) so you dont see them. Drink the bottle quickly though when you do open it...
All that said, Im no expert. Just plenty of experience. Oh and if it tastes like skunk pee, chuck it away..

Just enjoy it and ignore the bits.
I tend to ruin it with a bit of ice. Mr P drinks Ardbeg, it's a single malt scotch and I just don't like it. That's why I throw some ice in there.
I do like a bit of Jack Daniels as a nightcap or two though.
