Hi mccltd,
I've been using a blue i for a couple of weeks now. There are two main reasons I chose the blue i over the Goedsey and they are:-
1. The blue i tells you the speed limit when you are approaching a camera. So if it is one of those roads with inadequate speed signs you know how to adjust your speed.
2. The blue i tells you the type of speed trap so again you know how your speed is being measured, so you can adjust your driving accordingly.
This is not a critiscism of the Goedsey which is designed to be used by bikers as well but from my research I believe as a car driver the blue i is currently better.
I have positioned the GPS aerial front-centre on the dashboard and have no problems getting a satellite lock.
I bought it from networx and got a very good deal.
(and I have no connection with Origin or Networx blah blah blah just my personal opinion)
Cheers
Robin
PS I also intend to get a detector as the GPS devices only warn of fixed speed traps

Thankyou for your replies.
I do like the sound of the origin Blue, what size is it?
Also where have you mounted it?
And can it be easily removed? to avoid the thiefs removing it.
cheers,
Dave.
And how much is it to keep the updates going?

It is about the size of a packet of **** but double the depth.
I have mountred it on the dash below the drivers side air vent but I will probably play with the positioning a bit more.
It comes with super-velcro so you can remove it easily.
Updteas are £50 after the first six months
Cheers
