Default ex RAF Harrier Jet

7yr old boy tried to buy a Harrier Jet!

http://www.asylum.co.uk/2011/02/04/s...ther-s-ebay-a/

The Harrier Jump Jet T-Bird Aircraft XW269 was almost bought yesterday when the youngster hit the "buy it now" button by the picture of the famous British plane – now decommissioned and up on the auction site for a fixed lump sum of £69,999 ($113,515).

That'd look good parked on my drive!

- Bet the young lad's dad is kicking himself now, his son clicked BIN at £70k, now its's up to £94k on auction! The kid is a businessman!

Well it would be better on fuel considering you can not fly the plane

It is very difficult to maintain an aircraft as a static exhibit outside. It is surprising how badly they corrode.

Printed this off and handed to my boss. He used to fly Harriers and wrote a book about his squadron.

Just shown our MD and he flew this very plane on numerous occasions - it was the first 2 seater they were given. Beforehand they were just given the plane and the manual and told to go away and learn how to fly it!

Not sure if he can put it in his SIPP pension though
