Drinking start time ?

Ok, its Christmas Eve, when is it acceptable to start drinking ?

I started at about 12:30 and had one pint of Lager, then stopped, but intend to open a bottle of Champagne at about six, any sooner and I peak too early !

And, what are you going for ?

That is a horrible feeling, lunchtime boozing and ending up with an afternoon hangover, used to do it at the Police, 3 pints and then back to do the testing on the Alcometer software !

Just opened my first drink. Cooking party food for the kids so have stay a bit sober but after that because all the presents are wrapped and there's nothing left to do, I shall be attacking the booze with gusto

Oh and might finish off the night with santa's glass of whiskey

Large bottle of stella with my dinner then kids off to bed. Then having my bottle of Hobgoblin (no idea what it's like) the MiL bought me (gift set) for Christmas and then more large bottles of stella. First Christmas Eve i can remember i've been up to date with wrapping presents so looking forward to sitting down with a couple of beers.

Went to the pub about 4:30 and had a cider, had to drive and just got home. Had beans on toast and a yoghurt with a pint of water, hardcore.

Now the serious drinking begins which generally means I'll be in bed by 10:30 with a headache.... Dunno why I do it to myself!
