Default Manby Motorplex?

I've had a look at their website and their packages seem a lot cheaper than else where for specifically what I want, and it's a reasonable drive away from home rather than all the events offered being down south.

Has anyone personally used this place in nr Lincoln?

Don't want to commit to somewhere shonky.

I've had a google and I can't really find any reviews of use.

I've found the testimonials, they wouldn't work on my IE before but I can read them fine on Firefox. Any personal reviews much welcomed though.

I've been there as a spectator watching someone do a rally experience, they enjoyed it but it's the only one they've done so don't really have anything to compare it with.
The place itself is quite basic (IIRC it's an old airfield) and it's in the middle of nowhere near a small market town called Louth. Cadwell Park is nearby so you could combine it with an event there if you're going to Manby.

Was it safe / tidy looking even though it was basic, or did it look a bit like a cowboy enterprise set up?

I wouldn't say it was 'tidy' as such but then it's a rally place - definitely not style over substance! Not much in the way of facilities for spectators.
My OH was given one of those package things for a birthday present, where you get a fancy box and a voucher (think they sell them in Smiths/ Debenhams) and you choose from a list of locations, Manby was our nearest. He got to drive round the rally course two or three times then one of their drivers drove him round and then he had a go on the skid pan. He enjoyed it but if it wasn't a present I don't think he would have paid to do it IYKWIM.
Sorry probably not much help but it's the only one I've been to so can't compare it with anything.

That's been more help than you could imagine.

Thank you very much

I've been to these things before and they seem to be hovels in tin sheds or super swish corporate polished places... sometimes the prices don't reflect which is which.

Just so I know what to expect really

It's definitely not a super swish corporate place but it has been there for donkey's years so it's not a fly-by-night.
