Hi,any ds tecy people out there , we've bought the kids Ds xi's for xmas, i've tried to load an n5 card with some games on it (before i buy)from an old type ds, the card fits in the slot but the ds says no card fitted ? am i doing something wrong or is there something on the later ds blocking the card ?

But I'd be keen to find the answer also.
Last time I did this was with a DSTT card, but that was on an old DS and it just needed formatted in a certain way

 

Try updating the system files, just do a google search for your card . And you'll find them.

If it's a Dsi it wont work.

 

The N5 doesn't work .... you need to buy a new card.

Do the older DS games work on DSi if they are put onto the DSi card?

 

yes the older games still work but some of the new one wont work on some of the cards so watch out
