Just had a renewal for my insurance on my e30 m3.........i have a clean license etc. blah blah blah, and i am 28 this
year, my quote was £810 fully comp.
Has anybody got any good insurance companies i could give a bell?
Surely i should be able to get this a bit cheaper, the cars probably only worth between 4 and 6 grand!!!

Hope you can help............

Thanks.

P.S. I would of put this in the insurance topic type thingy, but only about 3 people seem to visit that every year.

Might be worth mailing Andy O'Hara. He's got a LHD M3 that isn't one of BMW's newer models!!

He's even got a couple of leather kiddie seats to go in the back!!

try Greenlight insurance in Brentwood. They insure my Scooby and were by far the cheapest. They specialise in performance and modded cars.Have also seen many other people on the bullet in board that have been raving about them too! good luck

Shaolin,

Andy's e-mail per his profile is aoh11@hotmail.com

I'd also recommend Greenlight - switched to them earlier this year and actually REDUCED my premium year-on-year despite extra declared mods!!

Best of luck

Unhappy

Anyone here with Greenlight received their actual insurance policy.

I renewed in February through them on a Highway insurance policy and I had to phone up for another cover note and was told that Highway were having problems with a new computer system.

Initially same as you OM.

When certificate actually arrived it showed the car to be an RB5 not a standard(ish) UK turbo.

Correct certificate received last week - policy renewed in mid-January

Fingers crossed that I don't need to make a claim.
