Default Original Star Wars Toys

As my Mum is moving house she has just given me a bag full of my old Star Wars toys. These are all original but I've no idea what some of them are.

They were given to me in around 1989 by a family member and are the original 1970's toys. I'm hoping there will be some Star Wars buffs on here that can identify them for me so I can try and sell them on.

There is no point passing them down to my son as he has too many toys anyway and is too young to appreciate them.

They could do with a clean and have no boxes, so if anyone knows what they are worth, please do tell

Here are the pics:

I know this is the Millenium Falcon. It has a couple of missing parts

I know this is the X Wing Fighter. Its in ok condition but one of the wings is wobbly but the action works when you press R2D2's head

Don't know what this is, but it works perfectly and stands up. Has a "walking" action when button is pressed

Don't know what this is. Cockpit roof is missing. Wings Open

http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...2/SNC12147.jpg

Don't know what this is or if the figure riding him is supposed to be.

Lol, no I don't. I was only 5 when I was given these and they went in the loft at age 7 and they haven't been out since

Tricky as there are parts missing - but on a good day around 30 to 50 quid for the Falcon, B Wing and ST AT (each)... not sure about the Taun Taun or figure.

A B Wing DCI? Are you quite sure?

The top picture is the Millennium Falcon.

Second is an X wing

Third is a Scout Walker or AT-ST.

Fourth is a Tauntaun.

Fifth is 4-Lom

Search on Ebay for what they are going for but given the condition, I doubt they'd be worth much I'm afraid.

I had a Lego C3P0 and the elastic band that held it together (by design) went off over the years and eventually snapped. Some time later the little pile of bits were thrown away.

Now they are a deeply sought after collectors item getting five to ten times original price!!!

My dad has loads!

Given that they were all ours, (my brothers and sister) when we outgrew them they went in the loft.

In good condition sometimes such items can go for a mint, but as everyone is trying to sell everything as a 'rare' or 'collectables' then you'd struggle to fetch much for them.

In that condition you would do better to stick them up in the loft for 10 years. They won't be worth much now, but even broken/parts missing they will be worth more in a few years.

Doesn't look like one as the cockpit canopy and guns are all missing.

Bet I was the only one who know it was 4-m though

I don't have any original Star Wars toys but am currently the proud owner of hundreds of pounds worth of Star Wars Lego

Thanks everyone

They don't seem to fetch much on eBay so I think i'll box them up and put them away in the loft.

Unless anyone wants to offer me £100 for the lot?

I had so much Star Wars stuff and it was all in really good condition.

A few ships and almost all the characters.

All went to a boot sale some years ago.

Myself and my son are quite avid collectors of star wars stuff, but to be honest the ships are worth little as they are incomplete. there is a guide available for star wars toys, I'll dig it out and try to value the stuff but tbh I think £20-25 for incomplete ships is about right. The x wing is the later "battle damaged" version which is less sought after but the b wing is quite rare. The at-st is missing some parts too and figures are really only worth money if complete with weapons etc. Or still in a bubble. 4lom should have a double gun and a cloak.

Just on a slight side-track my son has a chewbacca figure still in the bubble signed by Peter mayhew (who played ol' chewie) at a convention and it is his pride and joy. It's conservatively valued at about £180 but it will shoot up in value when the actor passes away.

Tsk! It's an X Wing in "normal" mode. Each apparent wing is actually two wings stuck together.

<nerd mode on>

The s-foils (wings) only go to X when they're locked to attack/combat mode.... According to the Blue/Red leader (I think) character in the original star wars film when they're approaching the death star.

<nerd mode off>

<super-nerd status activated>

The "S" in S-Foils relate to server motors which lock the foils into the famous X shape to increase the field of fire from the wing tip mounted laser cannons.

<returning to normal(ish) mode>

Cool! If only I had an original 1982 palitoy Boba fett figure with firing backpack (withdrawn from sale after a kiddie in the states choked on something similar) signed by Jeremy that would be worth tens of thousands!!!

My 7 year old has gotten heavily into star wars toys over the past few months, If any of you have any old Star wars toys that you would be willing to sell me that would be great!

Not really worried about condition as they will be played with (nicely) a lot.

Rest assured your old toys will be loved again!

Thanks in advance!

I used to collect the stuff you couldn't actually buy in the shops - remember the stuff you could send off for by cutting out the names of the figures?

I had a death star, and a darth vader collectors case. We more or less gave everything away in a car boot sale (I'm gutted my mother talked me into it).

we had absolutely hundreds of figures and toys - all from the late 70's early 80's.....
