Not as good as the first I thought. Story line a little stretched and very obvious twists. The scene when the Nyssa and the other ninja dude break into the warehouse was so CGI'd it looked amateur, which is weird as the final fight scenes looked really convincing even though blade was jumping up around the roof and smashing into walls etc.
Well worth seeing though. I cant believe Battleorders are trying to sell replica Blade II swords when its exactly the same one as he uses in the first - I know cos I have one and its mint

Ok fair point, what I meant was 'vague'. You have a vampire killing vampire who is killing vampires who in turn are designing an uber killing vampire that kills everything. At least with the first you got into Blades mind and his mission to kill the vampire race. I feel they concentrated too much on the fighting scenes - which, although good, dont make an entire film. IMHO the first was a better film, maybe I expected too much from the sequel but thats how I feel.

A lot of sequels are like that mate, and some "prequels" like The Phantom Menace, for example.
And I wasn't being funny about your post, or at least didn't intend to sound that way. Sorry dude.

Top film. Got a bit muddled in the middle (too much for the eyes to keep up with), but the fighting was cool.
I didn't know how they were going to top the fight with D.Frost in Blade I, but it was reaaaaaly well done. I couldn't stop laughing at the final fight... Top
First one was a tough one to follow, but they did it well (it could have been terrible)

Went to see it on Friday - thought it was ace.
I thought Blade was better and Blade II more of the same, but thats fine coz Blade was tops. Excellent fight scenes, Wesley Snipes looking mean (his entrance wasn't as good as in Blade though!!!) and Luke Goss of Bros fame as the super vampire - ****
Well worth going to see - thoroughly enjoyed it

Good film, but I have to agree with the earlier comment, some of the fight scenes are so blatently computer animations that for a moment I thought I was watching Jason and the Argonauts!
Worth watching tho' if you are a blade fan,or even an action/sci-fi fan.
