Is there a website that will tell me how long a house has been on the market ? Or is there any other way for me to find out ?

Isn't the HIPS report dated ?

The Websites are misleading as they can be fooled by changing Agents or Agents change a small detail to trick the site into thinking it's a new listing.

The HIPS report date is a good indicator, but of course, doesn't list a price.

 

and if you use property bee it tells you in the details what has changed and what dates eg, price etc

 

There are two houses near me that have been on the market since I moved here.




I moved here seven years ago!

 

I know a house, owned by an Iranian, close by me which has been on the market for 15 years!!

The owner always keeps the price about 25% more than the market dictates it should be - he says that he does it just in case someone is prepared to pay what he asks for it!! Must be a culture thing, as, clearly, no-one in 15 years has been found who is in need of mental health care ..... just thought, plenty on here - I shall alert him!!
