Right SNET fashion fans!!

I'm on the hunt for a decent pair of fashionable trainers. I'm out the loop a bit lately as a) I'm old! and b) all I ever wear is shoes!

The only trainers I own are for the gym and they could be illuminous orange and green for all I care!

I would love it if you could offer up some suggestions and even pics/links for me to have a nose.

Come on guys...help me get some street cred!!

P.S Need them to go with a pair of jeans!

I like them Marathons in blue but I worry I couldnt 'pull em off' or have the guts to wear a bright blue pair of trainers!! I usually end up with white cos I'm boring!

 

most of mine have been white for years but fancied somthing diffrent , since i bought them ive also got a pair with orange stripes addidas the sneakers but cant find an image of them

I buy about three pairs of trainers a year normaly, its like that song "i got my new shoes on and everything is allrite" or somthing like that

As I move on from my mid-30's into my late-30's, I've change from the typical Adidas stuff to Timberland trainers. A little more grown up and still comfy!

The only stuff I like above are Davyboy's choices!

 

We're getting old!

 

Adidas Stan Smiths are my trainer of choice, have 3 pairs, like the clean look, no stupid lairy colours

 

But like most cool things the've been around for a while, mid 70's infact
The simple design and nike swoosh have always looked cool, well i think so anyway and my real name is the fonz

You can never go wrong with a classic, and to be fair, you can wear them with pretty much anything. Also the classic styles are available in some cool/funky colours and if you are brave enough there are some nice boxing boot 'style' classic out that I think look cool.
