Explosion as speed camera is blown up in Eastleigh (From Daily Echo)

Is it just me, or does it look like the explosion came from the inside ? the top of the casing is all bent outwards, the lens shot down the street, and there is a mark on the inside of the exposed casing.

I've heard of this happening before. Happened a lot on the continent, something to do with people dropping powerful fireworks into the vent hole in the casing, and then legging it.
